| Everyday, we go thru circumstances or challenges in life. Many ppl find it hard to cope with it. I myself struggled. However am glad today's message was a good wake up call for me .. hehe .. though i have to admit i was not really listening.
The speaker said that, he had a dream, and in his dream was the story of Peter walking on water towards Lord Jesus. The speaker was there too in the boat and called out to Jesus, "Lord, if that is really you, call me too, i want to walk to you." True enough, Lord Jesus called him. As he steps out of the boat, he felt so happy and start running and skidding around, happily. After a moment, he noticed that Peter and Jesus was already on the boat, and everyone on board was looking at him. Lord Jesus spoke to him, "Elvin, what are you doing? Do you know that you are actually wasting my time?"
When i heard that, i was stunned. I was, or should i say, am still in this situation. Taking things that Lord has given to me for granted. Having my own sweet time in everything that i do. I know that this is 1 of the key areas i should change, and be focus once again on what i should do. Thank you Lord for reminding me. Bless me i pray ... :) |
